Strip Mining Disasters (1977)

about

This version was recorded in Hollywood in 1977. Jane and I did the basic tracking in Hollywood using acoustic guitars, piano, electric guitar, vocals and several synthesizer sound textures. During the production of the album Beneath All The Madness, Connie Fosso kept asking me to pull Strip Mining off of sunnydale and put it on Beneath. I liked her enthusiasm. I told her that I was eventually going to release sunnydale and that strip mining disasters was the anchor of that album. To take it off would be removing it's turning point for the albums overall concept. Sunnydale is set to be released on 02/15/2016.

about

jc story-teller Huntington, West Virginia

jc story-teller was the original performing name for Jim Curnutte. It was later dropped in 1979 for Assassin of Silence. After two successful released LP's. In 1981 Jim Curnutte decided to drop all the handles and go strictly under his name. Thus came the album (factorial). Many more Jim Curnutte albums coming.
There will be more jc story-teller release coming also.
